@mitsubishiaust @NRSPPaus Australasian Fleet Management Association

I’m home after my return journey across the Nullarbor & a glimpse of the future. EV’s are finally becoming mainstream, but people still have concerns about range & practicality. I set out to dispel those concerns, by travelling Perth to Adelaide & back in a Mistubishi Outlander PHEV.

I knew this capable SUV would do the job & it was immensely satisfying to demonstrate.  Here are the final numbers, 5613 kilometres at an average 6.9l/100km.

It truly was an amazing experience, travel by EV, SA renewable energy infrastructure first hand, attending the astronautical congress & seeing a magnificent country.

Only one thing remains & that’s to say thanks.

To Mitsubishi Australia, for allowing me to use an Outlander PHEV & demonstrate its capabilities. The National Road Safety Partnership Program for following my travels, brainstorming social media journey management & keeping a running blog of my journey. The AFMA team for running the excellent Nullarbor Diaries series & finally, The City of Adelaide for inviting me to attend the unveiling of their Central Market EV charging station & most importantly enabling me to top up the batteries for my return journey home.

All very much appreciated.
